Trovo che questa canzone rispecchi in modo perfetto il finale de "Il Signore degli Anelli" sia per quanto riguarda i film che per il libro. E' malinconica, ma non triste, parla di un addio che in realta' non e' tale. Mi lascia quella malinconia di qualcosa che e' finito, ma la speranza di qualcosa di bello che sta iniziando, la pace dopo la tempesta.
Ho imparato la canzone a memoria molto prima di sentirla durante i titoli di coda de "Il ritorno del Re", e al cinema non ho potuto fare a meno di piangere, per qualcosa che finiva, anche se so che questa e' una storia che non ha ma fine, perche' e' un libro che non si puo' mettere mai da parte, ma che torno a pensare, che torno a leggere, tutto o in piccole parti.
